Katie Warner, LMT
I bring an athlete's understanding of the body to every session — because I've lived it at the highest levels. My approach is always collaborative: we figure out what's going on together, then we get to work.

Both sessions begin with an intake — a short check-in so Katie knows where you are before hands touch body. Pick the path that fits where you are today.
Customised bodywork designed to help you feel your best — especially when you're dealing with persistent pain. A gentle, listening approach rooted in positional release — finding positions of ease to unwind tension at its source. Sessions may also incorporate Swedish massage, joint mobilization, and neuromuscular modalities, tailored to your unique needs.
A 90-minute full-body relaxation massage using Swedish technique, essential oils, and warm towels. A quick intake checks in on recent injuries and gets you settled before you drop into 90 minutes of uninterrupted rest. No treatment goals — just genuine nervous system recovery.
The approach
Every session at the Warner Method begins with listening — not just to what hurts, but to the history behind it. As a former center defender for the Seattle Sounders Women and All-American at WWU — with a trial earned with the Mexican Women's National Team — Katie understands from the inside how performance shapes a body. That knowledge informs every treatment decision, and you're part of making it.

Two focused offerings, both beginning with an intake. Every session is collaborative — you bring the history, Katie brings the clinical training. Visceral Manipulation and CSCS programming are on the way through 2026.
Customised bodywork designed to help you feel your best — especially when you're dealing with persistent or chronic pain. The approach is rooted in positional release — a gentle, pain-free method that works with the muscle tissue rather than against it, finding positions of ease to allow the body to unwind tension at its source. Sessions may also incorporate Swedish massage, joint mobilization, and neuromuscular modalities, all tailored to your unique needs.
Sessions may incorporate advanced positional release methods that are gentle and pain-free — specifically aimed at chronic issues like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, back and hip pain, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Tennis Elbow, and Plantar Fasciitis. The goal is always the same: help your body reduce pain and restore function.
A 90-minute full-body relaxation massage using general Swedish technique, curated essential oils, and warm towels. Before the session begins, a quick intake checks in on any recent injuries and notes your relaxation preferences — then you're free to fully let go for the next 90 minutes.
No treatment goals, no clinical agenda. For athletes and former athletes especially, receiving — really receiving — can be its own kind of work. This session creates space for the nervous system to genuinely down-regulate. Come tired if you need to. That's the point.
Developed by French osteopath Jean-Pierre Barral, VM works with the mobility of the body's internal organs — recognising that visceral restrictions often drive musculoskeletal tension elsewhere. Katie has completed VM I and advances to VM II in June 2026.
Once Katie earns her CSCS in July 2026, she will begin integrating movement assessment and programming into the Warner Method — bridging treatment massage and performance training for clients navigating life after competitive sport.

The story
Katie Warner competed as an All-American soccer player at Western Washington University, then went on to play four seasons as a center defender for the Seattle Sounders Women — and earned a trial with the Mexican Women's National Team. For years, the body was a tool: trained hard, pushed further, asked to perform without question.
When competitive sport ended, something unexpected happened. For the first time, Katie had to learn to listen to her body with curiosity rather than demand — to embrace new rhythms, to train for longevity instead of output, to build strength with intention rather than obligation. To ask not what the body could do, but what it needed.
That transition became the foundation of the Warner Method. Every client who walks in — athlete, former athlete, or someone simply carrying the weight of their life in their body — is met with that same curiosity. What is your body holding? What does it need? What is it trying to tell you?

What drives the work
The body keeps the score. It holds the history of every game, every injury, every season pushed too far — and it's always communicating. The Warner Method approaches every body with genuine curiosity: not demanding it perform, but listening for what it's holding and what it needs to release.
Training for longevity means moving pain-free, building strength with intention, and learning to embrace new rhythms after competition ends. Sport teaches you what your body can do. The Warner Method helps you discover what it can sustain — and become.
Every session begins with a real conversation — about your history, your goals, and what your body is asking for right now. You are an active part of the process. We figure out the path forward together.
The transition
"When sport ended, I had to learn something harder than any training I'd done — how to listen to my body with curiosity instead of demands. That shift changed everything. It's what I bring to every session."
— Katie Warner, LMT · Seattle Sounders Women · WWU All-American
